LAMASUS Stakeholder Board met in March 2025

3rd LAMASUS Stakeholder Board workshop

The LAMASUS third Stakeholder Board workshop took place on 5-6 March 2025, in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Tamás Krisztin (IIASA), scientific coordinator of the LAMASUS project, welcomed all participants and opened the 2 days event with an introduction talk. This was followed by a introduction to policy briefs by Anna Renhart (WIFO) and Felicity Addo (IIASA).

The morning of the first day continued into 3 “policy briefs” breakout sessions:

  • CAP and productivity, led by Anna Renhart (IISASA)
  • Sustainable farming, led by Felicity Addo (IIASA)
  • Land use change led by Tamás Krisztin (IIASA)

The afternoon of Day 1 focused on macro-modeling senarios for medium- and long-term policy assessment, with a plenary talk by Jonathan Doelman (PBL) and Nico Polman (WUR), followed by group work organized in breakout sessions. To end Day 1, Franz Sinabell (WIFO) gave a presentation on how to communicate findings efficiently and disseminate the results via roadshows.

On the morning of Day 2, project partners and stakeholders had the opportunity to visit the farm of Kostas Kravvas and debrief the senarios discussed throughout the event.
