Knowledgebase of climate, biodiversity and economic impacts of LUM transitions

What is it?

A comprehensive database that integrates spatialized information on how LUM transitions impact the climate system (D5.1), biodiversity (D5.2), and the costs of land management (D5.3). This knowledgebase is useful for assessing environmental and economic impacts of past, present and future transitions in LUMs. It is a useful tool to optimize strategies of LUM transitions to fulfil the goals of the EU Green Deal. The knowledgebase consists of 9 components and a policy brief (D5.4) that provides a demonstration of its use.
