Video interviews of LAMASUS coordinators, partners and stakeholders, recorded at the Annual Meeting in Seville, November 2024.

We are pleased to announce the release of a new series of video interviews featuring key project partners and stakeholders from the LAMASUS project.

These interviews were recorded during the annual LAMASUS event that took place in November 2024, Seville, Spain.

The annual gathering brought together researchers, stakeholders and policymakers who were asked about the key outputs and achievements, expected impact of LAMASUS in the field:

  • Tassos Haniotis, senior guest research scholar at IIASA and member of the Policy Advisory Board, on the impact of LAMASUS on policy making
  • Petr Havlík, LAMASUS Principal Investigator and senior researcher at IIASA, on the significance of LAMASUS in the context of EU Climate change mitigations.
  • Simon Kay, Expert Advisor with the European Commission and member of the Policy Advisory Board, on how the integrated approach of LAMASUS is key to delivering impactful outcomes to the field
  • Tamás Krisztin, project scientific coordinator and senior researcher at IIASA, on the key LAMASUS achievements
  • Linda See, senior researcher at IIASA, who presents the Land-Use Management (LUM) Database and its applications (also see this page)

Each interview proposes the perspective from different project contributors and help gain a deeper understanding of how LAMASUS is contributing to shaping the future of land-use and management policies.
