LAMASUS project presented results at EGU24

LAMASUS researcher Linda See and LAMASUS principal investigator Petr Havlík presented their work during the annual meeting of the European Geosciences Union, EGU24, in Vienna, Austria.
Petr Havlík gave a talk on “Modelling in support of long-term pathways and EU policies for bending the curve of biodiversity loss”. He discussed scenarios to reverse biodiversity loss and how LAMASUS can enhance sustainable land use management.
Linda See gave a poster presentation on “Improving high-resolution spatial information on agricultural land use management in Europe for economic land use modelling and the assessment of policy impacts”. She presented the LAMASUS Land Use Management Geodatabase, of which a beta version can be viewed on Geo-Wiki
