Special session on “The Role of EU- and regional policy in sustainable land use management”

26-30 August 2024

LAMASUS is proud to announce that it will organise a session on “The Role of EU- and regional policy in sustainable land use management” during ERSA2024.

This session will be dedicated to the exploration and discussion of advanced econometric models developed for assessing the impacts of agricultural and forestry policies on land use and land management. These models offer a nuanced understanding of how land supply, farm structure, and profitability are influenced at various scales – from local to regional – under different policy frameworks. During this session, the LAMASUS project will present models that provide guidance on land use management dynamics, drivers, and impacts, especially EU land-related policies – and close knowledge gaps in the economic and environmental impacts of associated farming/forestry practices.
